Our California Adventure - Day 4

On Sunday we went to Legoland. It was a nice overcast day. By afternoon the clouds had moved away and the weather was perfect. Legoland was a huge hit for the kids. this park is kid oriented. Here are some pictures of our time in Legoland.

When we got back to the hotel that night we enjoyed a nice relaxing hot tub. Then off to some sweet slumber.

Our California Adventure - Day 3

After 2 long days we needed a rest day. So we headed on down to Huntington Beach on Saturday. It was only mid 60's I would guess that day at the beach. Plus with the sea breeze it made it a bit chilly at times. The kids didn't care. They still ran around in their swimming suits and played chase with the waves in the ocean. I sat back and took pictures and videoed. I ended up getting tons of color that day and burnt my nose and forehead. After about 2 hours we headed back to the hotel to lay the girls down for a nap. Collin and I went down to the pool while I laid out for 2 hours and Collin swam. It was much hotter at the hotel then the beach. :)

That evening we went to Downtown Disneyland to the lego store and met up with Bruce's cousin Chris. We went to dinner with Chris and his 3 kids and met up with another cousin Dani and her 4 kids and also Chris & Dani's mother who is Bruce's aunt Chari. We had a great time visiting with them. Collin was able to go to Disneyland with Chris and his oldest who was also 11 yrs old. He had a blast riding rides with William until midnight.
Bruce and his beloved Darth Vader.

Our California Adventure - Day 2

On Friday we got up bright and early. Ate breakfast at our continental breakfast. We stayed at the Best Western Park Place Inn that is directly across the street from Disneyland. After breakfast we walked across the street into Disneyland and started our adventure.
We had to take of picture of Cinderalla's castle first off.

We started in Tomorrowland. Here is a picture of the first ride.

We also went on the Buzz Lightyear ride. The girls loved that one. We ended up riding it about 3 or 4 times throughout the day. I took Collin & Jordon on Star Tours. Then Bruce and Collin went to ride the Matterhorn while the girls and I went on Nemo's submarine. Sienna fell asleep after lunch so Bruce, Collin & Jordon went on Spacemountain and the race cars while she slept. We headed on over to Adventure Land after that. We were all able to go on the Safari Cruise. Collin and I went up into Tarzan's treehouse.

We then all went on Pirates of the Caribbean. Bruce and Collin went on Raiders of the Lost Arc while the girls and I waited. Then we headed on over to the Fairytale Land. Sienna's favorite ride was the Carosel.

They had lots of rides in this area that the girls loved. Collin was getting a bit bored. We had to stop and get an ice cream break. It was hot!

Off to the Madhatter's Tea Cups!

We then headed over to It's a Small World. Jordon and Sienna really enjoyed this ride. Then we went to Toontown. We went through Minnie's house and Mickey's house. We also went through some other Toontown buildings and lastly went on Roger Rabbits ride before Toontown closed.

We left Disneyland around 9pm after a long 11 hour day. I could barely walk back to the hotel my feet hurt so bad! Collin was super exhausted as well. We all had a great night sleep.

Our California Adventure - Day 1

The alarm went off at 5:15am. I got up and took a shower and got ready for the day. At 6am we woke the kids up and bathed them. Finished packing the toiletries and headed out the door by 6:30am. We drove to my Dad's house and picked him up so that he could drive our vehicle back to his place for the week.
We arrived at the airport around 7:15am. Got checked in and through security with no hang ups. We ate some McD's for breakfast then waited for about 20 minutes for our plane to board. This is a picture of the kids playing while we waited.

Collin had to sit 2 rows in front of us. He sat next to a college student so they hit it off well. He probably talked the poor guys ear off. Jordon sat with me and Sienna sat with Bruce. Worked out perfect.

We arrived in LA around 9:45am. We got our rental car and headed up north to Universal Studios. I had contemplated bringing our jackets because it was pretty windy but thought once we get in the sunlight it would all be good. Should have listened to that inner voice. We still had a good time even though I was freezing most of the time. The Shrek 4D was awesome! We spent 5 hours there and got back in the car and headed south about 50 miles to Anaheim to our hotel.
Here is Bruce and Collin being attacked by a large shark

Collin and Shrek

The girls were SO excited to see Dora. Of course, so was Collin (hehe) ;)

You should have seen Sienna's eyes light up when she noticed Dora

My baby's 3!!

Happy Birthday to my beautiful Sienna. She is such a sweet spirit that brings such joy to this family. She loves LOVES to tease. She reminds me so much of my mother. She is very determined. She has to do everything herself. If she can't then she freaks out until she can do it. This is not a pretty sight at times. She is so loving. She loves her brother and sister so much and misses them tremendously when they are gone. She loves to cuddle with Mom and Dad. It makes my day! I can't believe it has already been 3 years since you entered our lives. It was such a joyous day. I remember thinking when I first saw you how much you looked like your sister. I'm so happy you have her as your best friend and hope you keep that wonderful relationship. We love you to pieces Sienna and wish you the best birthday ever!

Strolling back through time as Sienna grew up. Collin & Jordon were so happy to have you.

You were so proud of yourself. You loved being able to walk.

You LOVED food. Especially chocolate. You come by that naturally. ;)

Mommy could finally put piggies in your hair. So cute!

Mommy's big girl helper!

See I can do this MYSELF!

Gummy Bear

Bruce and I went to the Dr. today to have our first ultrasound. The baby is growing beautifully and already has arms and legs. So instead of a little peanut it's a gummy bear. My due date is my Mother-in-law's birthday and 1 day after mine. November 12th, but if I have it my way the baby will come 1 week earlier. :)
