We celebrated Sienna's birthday on Saturday and had all the family over plus some friends. Sienna loved her Dora birthday cake and couldn't stay out of it. She kept sticking her finger in it so I cut her a piece to eat before everyone got here. She really enjoyed her cake! When we sang Happy Birthday to her she got all shy and embarrassed and covered her face. It was too cute. She loved opening up all her gifts and surprised everyone by knowing all the names of the princess's she received plus of course Dora.
It's hard to believe that my baby is already 2 years old today. It honestly just seems like yesterday when I took hold of my 8lbs 5oz baby and brought her to my chest. Sienna was such a beautiful baby. I can't imagine our family without her. She loved to just watch Collin & Jordon and took everything in. She has quite the personality and spunk to her. She loves to play with whatever Jordon is playing. She lights up when Collin comes home and she runs to hug him. I love you sweet girl and I'm so glad we have you!
Bruce left Sunday afternoon to Houston for the week for some job training. He won't be back until Friday night. Well the thought going through my head was what the heck are we going to do all week to keep me from going nuts from constant fighting between the girls ... and me. We have spent a lot of time outside since it's been 80 degrees here. We went to Target to get the girls a splash pool. Jordon loves it and Sienna is taking some time to get used to it. We planted flowers in the backyard, went on bikes rides, went to the park and this morning we went to Build-A-Bear. For the most part the girls have been really good and it hasn't been too bad. It nice that the weather is cooperating so that we can spend so much time outside and ware them out.
Sorry this post is a little old. On Easter Sunday we colored Easter Eggs while Sienna was napping. It was much better this way! Jordon, Collin & Bruce had a great time.
The girls slept in till 9:30am and we actually went in to wake Sienna up. She was up half the night playing and giggling ... not sure who with but none the less at least it wasn't crying. We let Jordon pick out which basket she wanted and of course it was the princess one.
Yesterday Dad & Ellie did their traditional Easter Egg Hunt at their house. Ellie had hid a few eggs outside and did the rest downstairs since we didn't know whether the weather would cooperate or not. The cousins had a blast playing together and finding candy. Ellie had made some delicious cinnamon rolls for us to eat after wards.
