Together Forever
Bruce and I have decided to make our marriage and family eternal. On February 4th we will be going through the Temple and on Saturday the 5th we will be sealed together as a family for time and all eternity. We are very excited and feel wonderful to take this next step in life. Our Heavenly Father has blessed us beyond what words can express right now in our lives. We are very thankful!

What we've been up too ...
Well life at home with Alexa has been an interesting adjustment. Some days are good but we have lots of bad days too. Those days make it really hard to be a Mommy to Collin, Jordon & Sienna. Bad days require Mommy to hide away in the bedroom from all the noise and focus on keeping Alexa calmed down. We have been weaning her of the morphine. Every 3 days we lower the doses. We are on track to having her last dose on Monday (Martin Luther King Jr. day). We have also lowered the dose of her Phenobarbital (anti seizure med). This last month has been busy with Dr. visits/follow ups. She has gained 2 lbs already since being home. We do one 6oz continuous feeding at night for 4 hours. She had her sinegus shot last week. This puts RSV antibodies in her systems to help her fight off the infection better if she were to get it. On Wednesday she has her immunizations. Not looking forward to that. Last week she had her G-tube switched out to a Mickee button. Bruce was in Utah last week so it was extremely difficult for me to get anything done let along do much for the girls. Thank heavens I have great friends who offered to take Jordon & Sienna for playdates. After Alexa got her button put in on Wednesday night she screamed and screamed. That night was a bad night as well. The button was very sensitive to touch which I have to do to put medications through and venting air out. On Thursday it started to look a little red and still very sensitive. By Friday morning it started oozing a goopy like looking substance. I called the surgeons office and they said to bring her in. Of course she had an infection so they called in an antibiotic for her. She is doing much better and not near as much crying. Things are going pretty good ... or as expected really. It has been such an adjustment to have a very needy baby with 3 other kids at home.

Sienna some how got herself into the baby dolls outfit |
Jordon slapped Sienna's back. Yes, she got in trouble for that |
Jordon loves her baby sister. Sadly she doesn't get much holding time because she's been sick |

Tummy time for all |
Sienna's 'fancy hair' is what she calls it |
My sisters and I used to do this too when we were little. Too funny! |
