Swimming at the Pool

We took the kids to the community pool in our subdivision the other day. The weather has finally been in the 90's. We put water wings on Jordon cuz she thinks she can swim in the deep without them. So now she thinks she is the biggest thing in the world cuz she can float in the deep without touching. Sienna loved her blow up boat. She had a great time in it.

Father's Day

Today is Father's Day and I have to say I have the best Dad in the world. I know everyone will beg to differ and that is okay, but in my world he is the best. He is a strong amazing man. He is Mr. Fixitman. He can do everything. Jack of all trades. To go through what he did in losing my Mom was inspiring to watch. Once the disease overcame my Mom she became a different person. The first 6 months she was very demanding and made LONG 'to do' lists for my Dad to do. He of course took the list with a smile and did as she told. Whatever made her happy. As the disease got worse she wanted Dad by her side (she also thought he was killing her as well thanks to the morphine) and he of course was there to watch his love deteriorate. I can't even imagine how that must have broke his heart to watch. I know from the aspect of a daughter losing her Mother. My Dad is extremely loving. He loves to hug and kiss ... everyone! I can't imagine my life without his affection. Today he is celebrating his Father's Day in the hospital. He has pancreatitus, gallbladder infection and an inflamed liver. He is having his gallbladder removed today. I hope you have an enjoyable Father's Day doped up on morphine today Dad! I love you!

Outside Fun

The girls LOVE to play outside. Yesterday we went to Roaring Springs Water Park for the 1st this summer. They of course had a blast. Sienna loves to splash in the water. I bought them a little play pool for the backyard and it is all they want to do. Back and forth between that and the trampoline. I took a couple of pictures of them on the tramp.

SAD, SAD Day for the Baird's

I just got back from taking Kamila to the airport. She has finished her journey and experience here in Idaho for now. It was a very emotional night for us last night saying most of our goodbyes. Now I kind of know how Kamila Sr. felt the day Kamila left Czech Republic to come here. It just seems like yesterday Collin and I drove to the airport to pick her up. I can't hardly believe how fast 10 months can go bye.
We will have some wonderful memories of our trips to Utah & Oregon, sharing our holiday's with her, watching movies together, playing Guitar Hero & Rockband, eating chocolate popcorn, choc chip cookies, smoothies from TCBY, the list goes on and on. We hope to share lots more memories with Kamila thru-out the years.
Last night Kamila wanted to see Sienna take her first step before she left. Surprisingly she got her wish. As Ang and Hailey came thru the door I set Sienna down on her feet and she took 2 steps toward her chair. So Bruce and Kamila was having Sienna walk back and forth between the 2 of them while I videoed. It was really special! Kamila left her fleece blanket her for Jordon whom Kamila will miss the most. She put the blanket on Jordon last night as she went to bed and laid with her till she feel asleep. We will miss Kamila tremendously! We wish her the best back in Czech Republic and hope to see her again soon. Love you Kamila!!

Big Girl!!

So Sienna is getting really close to trying to walk. She cruises thru the house pushing the pink car. She'll crash into the walls and giggle. Can you tell she thinks she's a big girl???
