My Czech daughter

She is more like a best friend than daughter, but legally I'm her host Mom. It's hard to believe that it has been 7 months already and we only have 2 months and 2 weeks left. I don't want her to leave. She has been an amazing addition to our family. I've enjoyed making trips to the Human Bean, Krispy Creme, Albertsons & TCBY with her. It's been nice to have someone to talk with and get another view or idea on situations. I love her so much and truly cherish our friendship. I'm so happy I made the decision to have her come live with us. We will miss you immensely Kamila!

Easter Bunny

So the Easter Bunny came early to the Baird house this year. Instead of Sunday morning he came Saturday morning. We had an Easter brunch along with an Easter egg hunt and the kids needed their baskets. We had it over at Dad and Ellie's and it turned out really nice. The kids had a great time, the food was delicious and it was a beautiful day. What more can you ask for?!

Anyway, back to the Easter Bunny. Well, he had hide the Easter eggs for Jordon around the living room (a test run for her before the big hunt). She was so excited to not only find a bunch of candy but also a My Little Pony and a Barbie. Sienna was also excited as well. She loved to shake the eggs together and eat the candy.

Random Pics

So I was finally able to get Sienna's hair in a 'pebbles' hair doo. Barely! It fell out halfway through the day.

Ahhh ... sweetness!

Funny Picture

So I can't help but share this photo because it makes me laugh. Both of their faces crack me up. Jordon wanted to spin 'sissy' in the chair. I was afraid Sienna would get too sick. They were so cute together though.

Vrrooom .. vrrooom, lets go!

It was almost impossible to get the 2 of them to cooperate together. These are my favs

Happy Birthday Mom!

Today would be my mother's 60th birthday. Sadly she passed soon to be 5 yrs in June. She was a courageous woman. She was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease) in March of 2002. Once she accepted that fact that this was terminal she came to grips with her fate and never complained .... not 1 time. June 29th, 2003 she struggled to take her last breath.

Still to this day I often wonder why she had to go so soon. We miss her desperately. I just wish my girls could know what a wonderful mother and grandmother she was. Her silly sense of humor and the love she had for all of her grandkids. I'm so thankful that Collin remembers her and was able to feel of her love. I'm often time so envious of others who still have their mothers around. I can't wait till the day that I will be reunited with my sweet dear Mother. I love you! Happy birthday!

Hair Cut

So I don't really like this picture but it will do for now I guess. Anyway, I cut my hair about 2 weeks ago and went extremely blonde. I'm really lovin it. Short hair is so fast and easy! My hubby isn't too fond of short hair but I think he likes it deep inside. hehe
