Here are some pictures of us before church on Easter Sunday. I realize that Easter Sunday is really next Sunday but it's General Conference.

Bye bye coffee
So I'm admitting my evil addiction. I love mocha's!! Iced peanut butter mocha's from Moxie Java to be exact. I like to treat myself to one 3-4x's a week.
Bruce and I have been taking a Temple Prep class. Since keeping the word of wisdom is part of going to the Temple I guess I better work on that. No coffee, tea or alcohol. I'm not a big tea drinker or much of an alcoholic drinker anymore just coffee. I will miss the taste very much, but in the long run I know it's the right thing to do.
Goodbye PB mocha's I will miss you!

Sienna's Procedure
So when Sienna's front teeth came through when she was a baby her left front tooth developed a cavity within a month. We've been keeping a close eye on this cavity and by now it had disintegrated about half of her tooth. We finally decided to pull the tooth, but this required her to be put under at St. Lukes. We had done this last year with Jordon so I felt comfortable about doing this. It's an excellent choice I think when kids are young to keep from traumatizing them of the dentist at such a young age.
I got up at 4am this morning and got ready. Woke up Sienna at 5am and get her ready. We were out the door by 5:30am. We got checked in at the hospital and pulled back to the surgery area by 6:20am. By 6:40am they took us back to pre-op. Sienna wanted nothing to do with the bed or gown. So she just sat on my lap. We attempted to give her her oral sedation ... that didn't go well. She spit it right back out. So they had to do a nasal one. It took just a matter of seconds, she had no idea. Worked like a charm. Within 2 minutes she was good to go. One of the nurses carried her back and the other two pushed the bed. They came out to tell me that she went under perfectly. They put the mask on her and asked her about the disney princess and she was out. No fussing or whimpering. Phew!!
After the procedure Dr. Cheryl Higer (dentist) came out and told me everything went great. She was glad we had decided to do the procedure because Sienna's tooth was forming an abscess (not good) so she extracted the tooth. She was able to take care of 4 other cavities and cleaned her teeth.
Most kids when coming out of anesthesia are very disoriented and cranky. We thought for sure she would be. She woke up about 10 minutes after they pulled me back in a great mood. She was happy and didn't fuss once.
I'm so thankful for such a great pediatric dentist that has the best intentions for my kids. She is awesome and I would recommend her to anyone!

Dresses
Jordon & Sienna LOVE dresses. That is all they want to wear regardless if they are summer dresses in the winter time. They don't care!
I bought the girls some super cute spring dresses and white shoes to go with them. It was like Christmas all over again. Jordon picked out her outfit for school the next day and did such a great job.

Ode to my Mother
Well we are at that time of the year again where I really begin to feel my Mother's presence. Words can't even express how much I miss her. How I treasure every memory I have of her. You'd think that each passing year it would get easier, but it does not. As each of my sisters and I get older the more we see our Mom in us. Sometimes that is scary other times it's a huge complement. Yesterday would have been her 62nd birthday. Happy Birthday Mom! I look forward to the day that we can be together as a family again. I love and miss you tremendously!

I'm a big girl now!
On Thursday I had bathed the girls and they were sitting at the table eating their breakfast when Sienna took off her diaper and told me she had pee peed in it. So I decided that I would put panties on her and see how she does. The rest of the day was cake. She potty trained herself. I never had to ask her if she needed to go. She would go in the bathroom by herself and poop and pee then holler to me when she needed to be wiped. It was fantastic. We've gone all weekend with only 3 or 4 accidents. I have to say that this potty training has by far been the easiest. She's not my baby anymore. She is so grown up and independent. I love the fact that we don't have to worry about diapers anymore!
